How about the whole premise, which is ass-backwards? Texas went relatively unscathed, while Louisiana took the full blow. Explains what happened a hell of a lot better than the various officials' parties. This thread is just a hackjob.

Can you say DISASTER and EVACUATION PLAN. Louisiana leaders couldn't say it nor execute it. Nuff said... They are awarded the infamous BOZO prize for lack of leadership. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

True. . .the degree of disaster was certainly more intense for Louisiana. . .however, this astonishing comparison illustrates clearly the REAL story of Katrina. . .and it's not that a few thousand people couldn't get their sandwiches and bottled water for a couple of days.

The real story is that the failure of socialism was displayed for all to see and yet there are still people dumb enough to think it was Bush's fault. More pathetic are the people who SHOULD know better but lack the moral courage to recognize truth and instead just parrot the "reasonable" swill about "there is enough blame to go around," ETC.

Another part of the "real story" that no one wants to expose. . .80% of the families in the flooded areas ARE WITHOUT FATHERS. Why is that? What are the effects of that?

Kanye West says Bush doesn't care about black people. Have you watched a Kanye West video? Is Kanye, perhaps, profiting off the lifestyle that is destroying the lives of millions of African-American people, especially young people? The real story is what SOCIALISM has wraught, not racism, not Bush, not the bogeyman. . .S-O-C-I-A-L-I-S-M!!!

Louisiana did not take the full blow...It was Mississippi that took the full blow. Lousiana was from faulty levees that wouldn't hold up in a specific storm surge...It beats the heck out of me when they knew this was a possibility yet had no evacuation plan...The contrast between the two is compelling.. no one can deny it.

Nonsense...............and it's not a matter of "severity" of hurricane impact; it's about the responsibility of the citizenry and their local governments. Now go tell the coastal Texas citizens how "unscathed" they were, slick.
