You're spot on with your comments. The Iranians were the ones who started the whole suicide bomb/"I want my 72 virgins now" craze with Beirut.
Apparently I paid more attention in history class than most on FR. Maybe watching "Blackhawk Down" when I heard the news (and some on FR dismissing this event as nothing) has the blood pressure up a bit, who knows.
