I'm going with the suicidal student who wanted attention theory.

Until "multiple devices" are confirmed, that's more sound a theory than anything else. There are often volatile minds on our college campuses. Especially a suicidal mind right after the Bali attack. Best to wait for the facts to pour in before fingering Al Queda. Remember the kid who flew a small plane into a building in Florida shortly after 9/11?

Suicide among young people is not uncommon in this country. Suicide by bombing in any age group is almost non-existent.

Multiple devices confirmed. The one that killed the presumed suicide, a second set off by the local authorities.
