Fact Sheet: State Dept. Updates List of Terrorist
Individuals and Groups

(Latest list produced October 11 under Executive Order
13224)

The State Department’s Office of Counterterrorism, in a
fact sheet released October 11, has updated the list of
foreign terrorist individuals, entities and groups as
specified by Executive Order 13224, signed by President
Bush on September 23.

The newest addition to the list, which now includes 219
entries, is the Tunisian Combat Group, added on
October 10.

Comprehensive List of Terrorists and Groups Identified
Under Executive Order 13224

Executive Order 13224, signed by President Bush on
September 23, blocks the assets of organizations and
individuals linked to terrorism. There are now 219 such
groups, entities, and individuals covered by the
Executive Order.
