Depending if this is the most current photo - it would appear that he has either the scruffy college beard or an islamic style (aka 'Adam').

Thank you for the photo, it is easier for me to see, no he does not look like Adam as I first thought.
He does look like someone who would join in jihad.
His name does not fit his looks.
