400 Sick Kids, No Hospitals

Pediatricians in the
western Yemeni city of
Hodiedah on Saturday
warned of an
environmental
catastrophe that might
befall the city due to
the spread of diarrhea
and fever amongst the
children, Al-Sahwa net
reporter affirmed.
The correspondent
said that some 400
kids were suffering
from acute diarrhea,
vomiting, and fever and
that some of them were
now lying in the ICU as
others were inflicted
with severe
constipation.
He noted that 212
children were admitted
into a number of the
city’s private hospitals
for treatment, with the
residents complaining
that the concerned
authorities didn’t offer
the necessary medical
service to their loved
ones.
The coastal city
inhabitants appealed to
the relevant authorities
to come forward and
perform their duty
toward the ailing
children before it was
too late.
sickening, really sickening,
considering all the money flowing out
of the public budget into the pockets
of Ali Saleh and his band of thieves
Thanks granny....all the recent illnesses being associated with hundreds of children just gives me a horrible feeling. We are so advanced in so many ways...it doesn't seem possible that this should be happening. Just a helpless feeling...and prayers for these dear children and their families.
