SUPPLY, N.C. -- Twenty bullet proof vests used to train law enforcement officers are missing from Brunswick County.
Sheriff Ronald E. Hewett said he's concerned that thieves will use the vests to pull off a larger heister or possibly a terrorist attack.
The vests were taken from a law enforcement training classroom at Brunswick Community College in Supply, N.C.
The robbers broke through the glass doors and unscrewed the motion detectors to get into the classroom.
