HAYWARD, Calif. - Seven illegal immigrants from Mexico were arrested at an import-export business in a sweep that federal officials said was part of an anti-terror security operation.
Agents with U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement raided the Hayward offices of Pacific American Group Inc. on Wednesday, arresting the men as they reported to work.
The company moves products through the Port of Oakland, and customs agents said the sweep was part of an ongoing effort to reduce terrorist access to U.S. ports.
Thank you, I hesitate to subscribe to every site. Interesting that it's a part of a anti-terrorism sweep rather than just ICE.
