Nope, that's not what I meant. it seems to me they'd want to make a gigantic statement showing the holes in America's security allowing a biggie AQ most wanted to appear on American soil prior to a major attack. Any way they could embarrass and/or demean America for the world to see would be an exemplary goal for them IMHO.
Sorry I misunderstood you. I had spent the evening arguing with some people who didn't seem to know anything about the subject... the types that whine about all the civil liberties they have lost, then can't name any when asked.
