Unfortunately I had already deleted the recordings from my answering machine.

That's ok. I think the other people will hold onto them. Maybe after everyone gets done ranting about the Supreme Court pick, they might manage to get interested in an obvious collusion between the Austin D.A., the DNC, and various 501c3 groups, like MoveOn and We the People.
I sure hope so.

Got a call in Las Vegas trying to tie Senator Ensign to the Delay problems because they are "friends". I hung up before the call was finished so I do not know the organization that was placing the call.
To: Souled_Out
Thank you. I would guess it was the same group.

Got 2 in the past week from "We the People." The first call was on the very day that Delay was indicted; basically said "Your rep (LaTourette) and Tom Delay want no time table for withdrawing troops from Iraq. Call your rep at [insert phone number here] and tell him to fix things at home first - ie New Orleans - and get the troops out."
So I called LaTourette, told them about the phone call and voiced approval for the opposite, which is leaving the troops til the job is done, and "by the way, I fully support Tom Delay in the face of this ridiculousness going on in TX."
The second came just yesterday and encouraged me to call my rep again to demand Delay's immediate resignation.

(it probably was actually the correct phone number, and if you knew the correct secret password, or addressed the person who answered the phone as "comrade" you could have gotten through to We the People)*lol*

I received an automated call on Saturday (from "People For America", IIRC), telling me to call my local US rep, JD Hayworth, and ask him to return the $800,000 of laundered money received from/through DeLay, and request that DeLay resign. I listened to the whole message, then called the Hayworth's office and left a message informing them of the call.
