I got a call from People for the American Way saying it was an "ethics alert". They were calling to warn me about how my congressman, Jeb Bradley was best friends with Tom Delay. I don't know what else they wanted to warn me about as it was at this point that I slammed the phone down. I live in New Hampshire.

It is unfortunate that I started this thread on a weekend. I missed Tony and Rush's shows on Friday, for the most part...Which is the precise reason the calls started going out on Friday afternoon! That gives 'em the whole weekend to prepare for when the excrement comes in contact with the turbinator!

I got one at noon trying to tie Melissa Hart to the "evil" Tom Delay. The group was "We The People" and the outdialer was from "Info Cision Man" at 330-670-8676. This thing wasn't planned. [/sarcasm]
S. Florida here. My call was Friday around noon saying that Rep. Foley received tainted money from Delay and I should demand that Foley return the tainted $. The call was from "wee the people" (I believe) and came from Tampa Center, FL 813.290.6001

This is a well-coordinated and expensive effort. My goal is to make this a waste of money for whoever bankrolled it.

Seriously,this seems to be a nationwide operation. Calls registered from Florida, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Texas, New Hampshire, Connecticut, etc.
This cost someone a LOT of money. I want to know who paid for it and where they got their funding. My Rat-detector is sounding the alert signal, big time!
