I know folks don't like to let facts get in the way of a good attack line, but unless you can support the charge that Earle selectively prosecutes Republicans, you shouldn't make it. And I don't think you can support it.
I don't know whether Delay did anything or not. But to claim that this happened only because of a prosecutor who only goes after GOPers is to be completely divorced from reality.

I'm surprised that he only has 15 indictments, so I presume that in fact he has a lot more indictments, but these are the 15 that involved politicians.
I've rather called him a "hack", rather than a "partisan hack". He went after democrats who challenged him or his buddies, as well as republicans who challenged him or his buddies.
The good news is that his conviction record is about as good as Larry Klayman's.
