Indictments are easy to get. Any DA worth his salt can get a grand jury to indict, it has been said. Getting the charges to stick are another thing. So DeLay and the GOP are in the position of saying those people on the grand jury are stupid and easily fooled?

Grand juries have a truly different standard to judge by than regular juries. They are definitely not doing reasonable doubt judgments here. Their job is to decide if it's worth indicting or not...and the rules are stacked in favor of the DA, not the defense.
