1) Pearl Harbor. 5-10 minutes of cool aerial warfare special effects surrounded by the worst, sappiest storyline and actors portraying people they who didn't even remotely resemble (Alec Baldwin as Jimmy Doolitle??? PLEEEEEZE!)

2) The Aviator. Leo DiCaprio cannot act. And I found Kate Blanchet as Katherine Hepburn completely over done. This cartoonish portrayal of Howard Hughes, one of the most innovative geniuses of modern time, was criminal IMHO. Why it got all the accolades amazes me.

3) Battlefield Earth. Blech!!! Boring crap.

4) The Scorpion King. The Rock needs to stick to his day job!

5) Fantastic Four. Jessica Alba is fantastic eye candy, but that just goes just so far.

6) Titanic. This film was a disaster (get it?). 1997 was a bad year for film if this was its best. Again Leo DiCaprio can't act.

I just saw the trailer for DOOM. The Rock plays the key role as the Marine blowing stuff up. He won't need to act, just grimmance. I can not even wait!

How about The Beach?.......Man that was a fantastic movie...laughed through the whole thing, especially when he had his Apocalypse Now moment.....
