Have you done any googling for info on a husband? I can't locate anything and couldn't then.
If you are talking about the gov, try: "Coach" Blanco. I have never heard a Christian name for him -- just "Coach". He is some sort of functionary at the university in Lafayette. He is reported to have connections with the Shaw Group.
Raymond 'Coach' Blanco is good friends with Jim Bernhard, CEO of the Shaw Group. There was a big brouhaha about Bernhard flying Coach Blanco around in his corporate jet. Jim Bernhard is also the chair of the Louisiana Democrat Party.
Former U.S. Sen. J. Bennett Johnston is one of Blanco's hunting buddies. Former state Sen. Edgar "Sonny" Mouton of Lafayette and his wife are "close personal friends" with the Blancos.
He is vice president of student affairs at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
