I submit it's not taken at the same time at least. Notice the prominant knot in the first photo. The knot is directly centered over the white stripe. In subsequent photos the knot is changed and drawn over the the left side of (subjects left side). Who knows when these cropped photos were taken, before, during or after the event? No way to tell.
Besides, nowdays with photoshop nothing is believeable in a photo. Remember, we've all seen Tom Hanks receive a medal from President Lyndon Johnson in the movie Forest Gump.
So, what are we trying to do here? Tell everyone The story may be false, but the context is true? Sound familiar?
Uhh, it's more like what are you trying to do here? You seem to be implying that Zombie is guilty of some sort of Chronicle-like mendacity of his own. Hey, he posted his photos of the event to let us make up our own minds as to whether his or the Chronicle's more accurately capture the flavor of the march. He already admitted his photos weren't taken at the same time, so I don't know what your sleuthing accomplishes.
I don't think the shift of the knot means much. It could have happened at any time. Ever wear a scarf tied on your head? I have. They slip a lot. You tighten it and it slips again.
She appears to have tightened the knot; it looks looser in the MSM photo (perhaps she had just put it on). The stripes on the kerchief match so precisely that it is unlikely this was two different donnings of the kerchief.
No, I believe zombie is trying to tell everyone, with proof, that even if the Chronicle photographer missed the lady in the COmmunist Vietnam t-shirt, he could not possibly have missed the Palestinian flags and the "F Bush" signs (in fact it's written right on the "3rd World Youth Against the War" banner the subject is holding). And an editor decided that of everything available, a glamor shot would be the best descriptor of the event.
That's deceptive. I don't know why you don't see that.
Did you know that it IS possible to tell if an image has been Photoshopped? I bet zombie knows it.
Besides, all it takes for those head-wrap things to move around is...moving one's head around. For example, walking along (like in a march) and looking around, or turning your head to speak to the person next to you. After a while the fabric is loose and you need to adjust it.
It's not like they're glued on.
