Ah, the ol' lighter, out of the gun, out of the rabbit out, of the hat trick!

Talented guy, and if he had been a couple of inches taller he could have been a leading man.

Gosh, this is really sad. And to think we were making cone of silence jokes just the other day.
Rest in Peace Mr. Adams.

He joined the U.S. Marines in the early days of World War II and served as a drill instructor. He saw combat in the invasion of Guadalcanal and was the only survivor of his platoon.Wow. I did not know that.

If I'm Larry Storch, I'm a little worried right now. OK, that's pretty funny! (I hope Larry's alright...)

His passing will be mourned by legions of angels.
Would you believe a barbershop quartet?
Would you believe a Cub Scout with an ocarina?

R.I.P. - One of his greatest deeds, a WWII Marine, known to me only now. Bless him, bless his family.

I remember so many funny gags.
There were 86 and 99 in the desert, pursued by KAOS commandos. Smart had luckily brought a Control "Emergency Escape Balloon" system in a valise. He pulled the lanyard, and instead a giant ocean liferaft inflated. Wrong valise. In the desert.
Great show!

Get Smart was the funniest show on tv.

Actually, if these things do come in threes, then the guy I'd be worried about is Don Knotts, who has been in poor health lately and is in his early 80s. But let's not play "dead pool." I hope ol' Barn keeps on a-goin'.
To: brytlea
There will always be Cones of Silence jokes. That was a great routine. Classic Mel Brooks comedy--creating an absurd situation and then acting through it deadpan as though it's a normal part of life. Charlie Sheen did some of that in "Hot Shots."

I have yet to read in any bio he was a Marine DI - and Snopes has the same Marine DI stroy about Don Knotts. Are we sure about this?
