Whether or not you believe ID should be taught, do you actually believe the ACLU is right in saying that this is UNCONSTITUTIONAL? You can fight ID on other grounds, but a teacher telling students about a book on ID they can read on their own time does not violate the first amendment.
The evos are so dedicated to their cause, they don't mind a little thing like the ACLU helping them out. After all, they obviously need all the help they can get. Students continue to believe creation over evolution.
It is unconstitutional for a state to force a teacher to teach religion in a science class. The Discovery Institute, which has been spearheading this effort, knows that this case is a loser and has refused to support the ID side.
If you want to know why DI backed out it is simple. They ar smart enough to know that intelligent design has to come up with some actual science befor it can be taught in a science classroom.
There's a lot of name calling going on, but the
Discovery Institute knows that ID hasn't produced any science yet. If and when it does, it will be taught.
Yes.
Now my turn to ask a question: Do you believe it is Christian to use deception to masquerade religion as science?
