[ No, I didn't miss it. Andrew is not a loyal Republican. He doesn't claim to be one. And I didn't say he was one. What I said was that he's not a Democrat. And he's not: He's a Libertarian. ]

A libertarian eh... What libertarian would stump for and vote for John Kerry.? of all people... John Kerry is anathema to any libertarian.. Kerry is RED and Sullivan is PINK.. that must be the linkage.. but then Bush seems to infra-red himself.. Socialism is HOT in Washington D.C. these days..

Democracy is the road to socialism. Karl Marx

Democracy is indispensable to socialism. The goal of socialism is communism. V.I. Lenin

"How do you tell a Socialist?- It's someone who reads Marx and Lenin.
Well then; And how do you tell an Anti-Socialist?
Its someone who understands Marx and Lenin" -Ronald Reagan

Surprisingly to me, some do go for Democrat candidates (especially the ones for whom social policy is the most important issues.) Some also vote for Republicans. Some would only ever vote Libertarian. Some don't believe in voting (I kid you not.)

Libertarians are viciously divided among themselves over the issue of abortion, and the Israel-Palestinian conflict.

Good point! If Kerry had been elected, there would have been gridlock, and would we not have been able to have this wonderful balooning deficit, out-of-control borrowing from China and 33% expansion of the Federal govt.

We might even have seen a repeat of the 1994 Contract w. America when Gingrich et al forced the executive to trim its sails a bit.

Instead we have an exec who constantly proposes new spending schemes, borrows from Communist China to pay for them, and apparently has never even heard of teh word "veto." And all supported by the wonderful (R)s in congress.

Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.
