I watched a good part of this. It was pretty moving. But I have to get out the door and get stuff done.

I heard Trent Franks on a local talk show in Dallas last week...
In fact the talk show host, David Gold, is a freeper...and he had on Trent for almost an hour...and I was really impressed with him. I wish he could have run against McCain last year for Senator!!!

Not so long ago in history, ballot boxes were coming in from Afghanistan on the back of mules.
And now we have seen free elections for the first time since their country was called Babylon.
And it is our military who gave this country this chance.
And God help us if we let the left wing forces endanger their mission on the battlefield.
And aren't we blessed to have President Bush who the soldiers can follow with a sense of honor. The president said these terrorists want to not only end lives, but to end a way of life.
Trent Franks is quite a guy. I never heard of him before. I am very glad that we have representatives like him. He obviously gets it!
