"finish planing the belly" = finish surface planing (using a hand-plane to remove materially incrementally to achieve a smooth surface of desired dimensions and parallelism) the section of bamboo which shall form the belly (front, or the the towards target) of the japanese asymmetric longbow ("yumi") I have been working on for several months ;)

walp... while planing the belly, I had the TV on in the adjoining living room, tuned to FNC

O'Reilly came on.
Among other segments, he had a taped discussion with Susan Estrich (who is pimping her pro-shrew book "The Case For Hillary" [BARF!])
I downed tools and watched this segment.
I am left to wonder, based on Estrich's behavior: Is Susan Estrich clinically insane?

Alrighty then. That was not at all the mental image I was getting. On a thread such as this it could of meant....well, anything, to someone who doesn't know.
