Gee, the link or location of where the story was reported out of is many times meaningless, and isn't necessarily where the event occurred. Many times you'll see an article being put out of Los Angeles or NY, and the story was not anywhere near those towns, that is why the first paragraph or the title header will usually cover the location, city, state etc. I just read a story two days ago that was linked to the Los Angeles Times, but the story was out of Utah.
Also you'll note the Header leading the article says ROWAN COUNTY in caps, when it should have read: ROWAN COUNTY N.C.
Again, the link to where the story was written does not necessarily mean that is where the story or event occurred.
