This is all a matter of simple math ,Democratic Governor from Louisiana +Democratic Mayor from New Orleans= Thousands needed rescued and hundreds died.Republican Texas Governor + Republican Mayors= Little if any needing rescued and a very few died.Democrats cannot lead.Republicans are leaders!NONE of this is Bush's Fault.

To be fair, the mayor of Houston is a Dem., but he's done a great job working with the Republican County Judge who is the head of Houston Homeland Security and also the Republican governor. They all managed to put politics aside in contrast to the idiotic partisan display of public officials in Louisiana.
