I just can't imagine the riprap vanishing, I'll bet the slope is less than 3-1 or they didn't go to the bottom but most likely Halliburton stole it for use in Iraq.

The initial wall of water was 36 feet (at least at the gaging station) maybe that's why they scaled it back. It's at 37k CFS now.
