it was clear at least to me that this storm was moving east because of SOUND METEOROLOGICAL DATA that should have been put out by our local stations.

I posted the facts as they were at 10:00 PM on Wednesday, what other data besides the NHC forcast did you have at that time ???

I see you were referring to MAWG's tin-foil-hat-wearing posts 1613 and 1693. The only "Clear Lake" I can find is NE of Dallas. Is there one closer to the coast?
