Her opening line at the "peace" demonstration was a real winner: "If we didn't know it now, we certainly know it now."
This rally is a great comedic diversion from the Hurricane Rita coverage. Tune in and indulge.

I just tuned in. This is funny stuff. How many are there? It looks like there might be more reporters than activists. Let me restate that. It looks like there might be more activist-reporters there than regular activists.

Mercy! Now that's the picture to show the troops to prove America really does support them.
No wonder Pill Donahue invited O'Reilly to come to the rally, he really, really needed the body to count!
BTW, will the environmentalists be upset to see the grass is destroyed and trampled in areas. Oh, the humanity!

Hawaii is next.Hawaii was one of the first - the mean, evil plantation owners (Haliburton!) took it over in 1893.
The guy with the "International Criminal Court" sign hung in there to the end.

Hey! I think I know where the crowd went. They were all schedule to speak, and left after being on stage. The current crowd is the real crowd.

They don't want to hear it was Eisenhower who started the civil rights movement or that if it wasn't for the Republican Party most of the civil rights acts would have been defeated, or that it was Republicans who were the abolitionist and were for radical reconstruction.
They like to believe in their version of history.

How in the HECK did she get reelected...grrrr!
The SAME way Nagin will be reelected. Its called black dems sticking together. Even if 90% of them in her district HATED her, they would have voted for her if the choice was between her and a white guy. My most sincere apologies to my fellow freepers who are conservative blacks. You guys know I'm right on this one.

Nationwide strike? They have jobs? No, but you know how libs want to ensure that no one else has anything that they don't have. LOL...
To: Mr. Peabody
I have never seen a more empty rally. Where did they all go? Is it on CSPAN3?I think they "took to the streets", but C-Span is not tagging along.
