Exactly...While Rita was a Cat5, she managed to pile up a lot of water, and some of it is putting the strain on the levees in NO...but it's not the main storm surge...that's probably going to hit between Beaumont and Vermillion Bay...
Right. Unfortunately for New Orleans, however, they could not handle much of a surge at all.
