Those who choose to serve are 18 or over, but as an example, I wanted to go Air Force after high school, but with the tail end of Vietnam looming, and me as an only child, my Mom broke down in tears and begged me not to go.

So I didn't. I can understand a comment about thanking parents who don't oppose their kids' wishes.

I see your side, but in Weasley's case, he was sticking up for Cindy and not taking issue with anything she's saying.

O'Reilly stated that Sheehan hates America.

I am working on letting my middle son go. He is ready to enlist in the service. We have talked with him over the last couple of months and encouraged him to find a branch of service that matches his interests. He has decieded to go into the navy and is looking for an area that will use welding and pipe-fitting. We support this, it is just hard to let go.
