Please don't get me wrong...I see the necessity...but, they spray for mosquitos all over this area all of the time...

and I don't think that we are asking the feds to pay for it.

Canada won't let us send them back, that's were they came from.

Exactly...I've been saying since yesterday, the mouth of the Sabine. Official track is very near Port Arthur. Might hit on the LA side of the river though...but again, wobbles happen.

I asked why Perdue did this on the other thread and got 'you're an idiot' for responses. I didn't get it and don't know what is wrong with people today. Well, I guess I do.

Still seems like Perdue is overreacting.

Market prices. Availability and temporary spikes are due to the inability to deliver. The refineries in corpus never shut down, contrary to MSM reports.

"I sense another round of 'Bush is a coward' accusations about to come from the DNC."

Last night CNN was blasting him FOR coming to Texas now. ("What does he hope to accomplish; its just a photo op.") The Libs cant make up their minds, except that whatever Bush does, it must be wrong.

I don't agree with Purdue's decision at all. First, this will create panic because people now think there will be a gas crunch next week. Second, I have to entertain my kids for two days which will have me using more gas than I would normally use on a weekday.

Both of my kids though are in complete agreement with their new favorite politician.

Fox saying officials say the entire city of Port Arthur is to be under water! I hope Shep has a floating device.

Waco is a long way away from the front lines.. but being prepared is what it is all about...

Interesting.. we (my other half) are planning on checking our the North side of Houston.. near Conrae (sp?) and Livingston to either build or buy our final home.. one of our son's is buying a marina in Texas and we want to be closer to him.. while this is a way from the Gulf.. that area appears to actively prepared for the event.. have a strong civic connection .. which is a positive for that area... we now live in Florida.. so we are very familiar with Hurricanes..

Our hats are tipped to you all for your caring and calm approach to the storm...

Kinda reminds me of an old Waylon Jennings line "if I'd have killed her when I first met her, I'd be out of jail by now"

Or the GnR song

I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I had to put her
Six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

Wobbles and radar. The earlier link I posted shows the track clearer. But to me, the eye still looks like it's going Beaumont way.

OU doesn't play this weekend at all.

That would be in keeping with how they've play for the whole season so far ....

Sorry rte66, I couldn't pass up the opportunity ...
