First using foul language proves these type of people are truly incapable of using their native language intelligently.

There is a place in art for reality, which includes the use of salty language.

But in the manner that the odious and untalented Bette Midler used it last week, at a fundraiser (as in F&%*%% the GOP) it's just low rent. Such people may have fame and fortune, but you can't buy class.

To a certain degree. Most cases I observe abuse it for shock value and nothing more.

I feel bad for Foster, she has a hard bitter edge just below the surface which understandably in her case comes naturally as a defense wall. That part of her reminds me of Martha Stewart. They both have very redeemable quality about them, ie., a person can see in them that they sincerely want to do good, the right thing. It's just so difficult and time consuming wading through all the garbage and parasites.
