Aaron was wise to spend a mere 1 million on that wedding. Looks like he'll be shelling out more bucks down the line...

All the more reason for the left to understand that there's an unhappy audience looking for better alternatives. These days, I've been surprised at what I can watch through Netflix and archives of HBO-type television. I don't watch any TV series except on DVD--just last month I discovered Firefly, which is the best thing I've seen or heard in ages. I'm watching Gilmore Girls--and they're even allowed to have this cranky evangelical Korean lady and her daughter. The daughter is being raised rather too strictly, but the treatment is still respectful. No one is trying to tie the mother to a stake or ride her out of town or even make cheap jokes.

Things are happening, in many ways because an audience doesn't mind blowing raspberries and throwing tomatoes.

I think the latest Foster will dwindle because it's a repeat of that movie where she had the chronically ill (the child has to always have diabetes or asthma, whatever to heighten suspense when the meds are unavailable) daughter in this closet with bad guys outside. I kept thinking, in that movie, that a simple pistol would have been mighty handy, but not politically correct. Foster as Uber Tigress Protecting Sick Cub was old the first time around.
