It just sounds like a bad movie. Jodie Foster only seems to do schlock these days (a la her last one, Panic Room.) Proving once again, that unless you are 25 and gorgeous, you are finished in Hollywood. As an actress anyway, in feature films. Kathy Bates has it right. Be who you are, diversify, cultivate a reputation as a character actress. Jodie Foster is yesterday's news.

Of course there are some fabulous middle-aged actresses doing amazing work. On HBO, and on Desperate Housewives, for instance...

Saw a review of a Cameron Diaz movie (something about sisters) and was aghast at how she looked even in a glimpse. She's gotten the Julia Roberts treatment--looks like she spent a week in a wind tunnel, all skull and stretched skin. You know they're goners when they start going to the butchers.

I've never seen this Desperate Housewives...should I rent the 1st season DVD? I like watching series TV that way. We watched the entire three seasons of THE SHIELD in less than a week and the 1st season of NIP/TUCk also. Have you ever seen NIP/TUCK...LOVE Julian McMahon!!!
