I have a friend whose husband first got into internet porn. Then he met someone online in a porn site. Now, he's asked my friend for a divorce.

I think internet porn is very addictive, and it just makes it easier to find someone else who is also into the same thing.

My poor friend had to be tested for STDs, and she has 2 small kids. I feel very sorry for her.

As you pointed out, porn destroys families and damages children.

Internet porn addiction leaves no needles or bottles. It's there at a click of the mouse, you don't even have to go to an adult video store and bring something home wrapped in brown paper or take your chances on the streets looking for a whore.

Sooner or latere society is going to have to come to grips with this.

And none of that stuff ever happened before the internet?

The article was very dishonest in the way it handled the topic and blamed the internet for something that has been going on forever to some degree or other.

There's also been hurricanes, tornados, and earthquakes forever. Mass media just brings them home more quickly.
