Used to be people shot each other regularly on the Houston freeways. We defined Road Rage. We've mellowed. I'm not sure why. We grew up a lot during Allison I think. It's been said a lot, but 9-11 that same year changed everything too. My mother died that same year. Not a great year for me.
It will pass. When we thought Emily might hit we were out helping our neighbors, patiently waiting in line.... Now it's back to ignoring each other, running lights, honking horns, cutting each other off, one finger saluting.....normal kinds of stuff:')
