I actually don't know much about her, except I believe she never married, and left her house(?)to the state when she died. I know she was a philanthropist. What's the deal with Bayou Bend?
That's the home she left--it's a premier museum of American decorative arts (antique home furnishings, mostly, from different periods). Very nice place. I just didn't know if all you knew of her was her *unique* name.
