Folks don't seem to know how to read maps anymore. Backroads are the only way to go.

Backroads are the only way to go.But of course! Service stations along the backroads have plenty of gas, water, food, motels, etc. and no price gouging!

You have that right. I made great time getting to my sister's house. I went on the frontage road most of the way. I watched the gridlock on the interstate while I zipped on by.
