Mornin' ~ I can't say I'm happy to be awake so early but I've got the first pot of coffee brewing so I'll feel less grumpy in a few minutes...I hope.
I'm streaming KHOU which isn't doing commercials - which is great but it also leaves them with a lot of air time to fill. The weather guy on that station sounds to me like he thinks Houston and Galveston are pretty much out the woods. Is he being overly optimistic?

Here's a visual of the woods according to the
latest NHC track (and keep in mind the 'cone of uncertainty'). As one might see, Houston/Galveston is very much in the woods, and the computer models have actually jigged a bit to the west this morning.
