I will have to go back outside to see if I see little clouds.....I see some little clouds, but they are moving slowly.
Which way are they moving?
The ones I am talking about go outward from the storm -- they're the precursors of the storm bands.
Very high up. The clouds lower down don't count, they could even be going in an opposite direction.
That's a freaky thing to see.
Just an FYI about traffic coming south. Family left Surfside this evening around 9pm. They've made it to Refugio with no traffic problems. Refugio was the first place they found with gas and are waiting in about a half block line to refuel. Should be smooth going from there on south on 77.
I've been worrying about my family members getting out and am relieved to know they are doing fine. They called me this evening about 6pm or so saying they couldn't find gas to get out of the Surfside area. I had just heard Fox News reporting from Surfside that one bait and tackle shop was open selling gas and supplies, so I directed them to call there. Sure enough, they made it there and got gas to get out of town. So a special 'Thank You' to Fox News for providing that information and to the guy at Surfside's Beach Bait and Tackle for the service he is providing. The bait shop owner is staying open all night and providing gas and supplies to police and anyone in need.
