I grew up Texas for 11 years until I was 17. We were in Houston for all of two summer months when I was a small child, then we moved south, to where the palms and mesquites grow. ...saw diamondbacks up to 7 ft. long on the school playground. ...sat through the middle of Hurricane Celia.
