At least he gets it when it comes to spending. Like him or not he was at least willing to be a contrarian voice against waste in government.

Left to his own devices, McCain would push every issue toward the Democrats, just out of some obsessive hatred of Bush and the religious right wing of the party.
McCain is a dangerous man with harmful psychotic tendancies hidden so deep it would take a truckload of psychiatrists to root them out.
I would trust a Democrat before I trusted McCain. At least you know where a democrat is coming from.
