"What is your source for these stats?"

There are at least 17 million illegal aliens in the US. 17 divided by 41 comes out to about 41 comes out to about 40%.

I work with washington lobbyists and conservative activists on a weekly basis and they ALL say McCain has no hope in the Primary.

LOL!! Depends who he's running against.

McCain is somethin'. He's known, he's got a record, and has run lots of campaigns.

You can't beat somethin' with nothin'.

McCain was positively glowing about Bush's speech yesterday, calling it one of the best he had ever given. It was nice to hear that, as Bush's words got so little press. It was indeed a magnificent speech,

"Nobody cares about somebody's private life. Bill Richardson is a helluva lot more in touch with his voters and his state than many other governors."

They don't care if your a sitting President residing over a booming economy during peacetime like Clinton was in 1998-1999.

Again, Rove runs weak campaigns.

He just never loses.

You really are clueless.

I don't care how many liberal RINOs think he has a chance, he does not have much support outside the MSM.

Every poll taken says he and Guiliani are the only Republicans who can beat Hillary.

He's got more support than you think.

McCain is a loser. The Vietnamese screwed him up. Not his fault. He's a Dem nightmare though. He won't get the support of the party faithful, because he's not a team player. Mavericks can't win. I should know, I've been described as a maverick. Mavericks are often principled people, but by their nature devalue loyalty.

Maybe the Bushes rely too much on loyalty, but if you can't be loyal, what kind of administration would you have? Disloyal people will be coming out of the woodwork. Imaging a Wilson every month undermining his policies.

"He's known"

He's made too many enemies.

The cultural conservatives will attack him because of sabotaging the Nuke Option in the Senate and for snuggling up to the Dems and Media at every opportunity.

Big Business and it's allies like Chamber of commerce and the Club for Growth will attack him via the grassroots for not supporting tax cuts.

He has NO Chance.

I asked for a source. I already know what your opinion is.

You don't have a source, do you?

There are more than 41 million Hispanics in the United States.

I went to see him, then, too. He walked within a few feet and turned and waved. He looked lijke an albino with a phoney seg. I left early, after he let vets start bitching about their benefits.

McLame is shifting to the right?? I don't believe it.

McInsane shifting to the right? He could only move to the right since he has not left any significant room on the left.

THe party knows he can't be trusted. He'll never get the nomination. Sorry,Mr.Barone.

Hillary may get the Dem nomination, because of the blackmail FBI file thing and her money. Her negatives are so high she will insure a Republican win, as long as the Rep pick is reasonable, say Allen/Brownback.

JMNSHO.

"McCain voted for Bush's tax cuts. What the hell is the matter with you?"

He helped scale down the size of the taxcuts, and is always railing against taxcuts for the "wealthy".
