Whiter, more rural jurisdictions would be more conservative, hence more inclined to impose capital punishment. No surprise there.

I think it's more to do w/ the jurisdiction - non white: being inner city, liberal judge territory

I am going to guess that the killing of a white in a rural area was a random act of violence perpertrated on a completely innocent person......

I am going to guess that some of the Latinos and blacks killed were active in the drug trade.....or gang affiliated....

just a guess.....
