every little wobble is critical now..but looks like a hit just west of the tx/la border now.
good news and bad news with a more east route
good news...the very heavy populated houston area will be on the weak side of the sotr with wind and surge mich lower then if it hit west of the city
BAD NEWS..she goes right over the heart of the oil/gas fields and New orleans get more surge into the lake and rain

You got that right. The map in this link shows yesterday's projected path for Rita, so if you shift its path N-NE, she plows through many manned oil platforms (grey spots on the map). Lord help us.
