I had heard earlier that they had not done it because of emergency vehicles needing the freedom of movement. Tom Delay was just on Fox saying it will be done with 45, then 10, then 290.
looks like this storm is headed straight for Beaumont. My good friend just evacuated her house there this morning at 6am and head to her grandmas house 3 hrs north. I'm so worried for her house. It is a mile from the coast!
