We need to fill the Gulf with ice. It's too hot. What would happen if we used about a thousand planes filled with ice to bombard a hurricane? Would it have any effect?

The exhaust from the ice making machines would melt the polar ice cap.

When I was 14, I vacationed at Foley, AL with my best friend who was, frankly, a spoiled brat. He father hired a gent to fly above the clouded area of the beach (we were trying to get a suntan) and drop dry ice into the clouds. I swear to Pete, they dissipated in less than 30 minutes.

How about we go to Antarctica with a fleet of tug boats, rope up one of them Rhode Island sized icebrgs, and station in the Gulf? Heck, we could get about six or seven of them and surround the hurricane!
