I have been watching all day stories about how Houston is evacuating the NO refugees from shelters, elderly and sick from hospitals and nursing homes, and encouraging people to leave. It's true that I haven't yet seen a mandatory evacuation notice (there might have been one, but I didn't see any), but if the authorities are evacuating everyone they could possibly move, then anyone who can get out themselves has plenty of warning.
