I have friends in Pasadena...how bad do you think it will be there? According to a simulation run on the Houston Chronicle website, if Rita is a Cat 4 at landfall, Pasadena is right at the edge of the storm surge area.
That's too damned close for comfort for me.

I have friends in Pasadena...how bad do you think it will be there? I hope your friends aren't there to find out. It's in the currently voluntary evacuation zone, but will turn mandatory at either 2 AM or 6 AM Thursday morning, depending on which part they live in. Northern part is the 6 AM zone.
