"McCain '08 is an MSM pipe dream."

I must respectfully disagree. McCain is a MSM red herring. Their pipe dream is Hillary. If McCain or Guliani are the GOP candidate, their pipe dream will become a reality. Too many Republicans that lean toward Libertarian or Conservative will not vote for either. They will vote third party and let the chips fall where they may. I remember 1996 when Carroll Campbell and the establishment Republicans told us that Dole was "our" candidate and if we didn't like it it was too bad. Well, we got Clinton again!

I am still amazed that Dole was given the nomination.

And those here that think a great orator is absolutely necessary, just remember Clinton. He could give speeches and answer questions with ease. Like many of you, I wish that W was a bit more fluent with the english language, but if my choices are between a great speaker and a great leader, the great leader gets my nod every time.

The GOP will get what they deserve for not listening to the cries from their base. My vote is reserved for a true national security/border/immigration/fiscal/social Conservative, and that ain't McCain.
