I really think events that are bringing out of towners in for the weekend should be canceled to free up those hotels.

Lots of rooms already are housing Katrina people.

I am thinking like ACL fest should be canceled. If CAT1 comes to Austin it should be canceled anyways.

Actually we were able to convince some to cancel. There were others calling who said "how come there's no availability in Texas?" I wanted to say DUH, where have you? Wake up and smell the coffee.
