My point is meant to be exxagerated, I don't really want that but the US must find a way to end our dependence on foreign crude product but I'm starting to wonder if it can happen short of my "exxageration"? If we're going to freak out over every hurricane then that alone should tell the eco-twirps and oil giants somethings wrong.

Wow...I'm not even sure where to begin. Let's start with...I don't know you well enough around here to tell when you are exaggerating. Second, there are no oil fields on the Atlantic coast, and hurricanes cause great consternation there too. Third, your profile says you used to live in Texas, and now you hang out at home distributing your investments. That's nice for you, and I hope you ride your bicycle to the corner market for groceries rain or shine.
